Since the city of Quebec invested in the renaturalization of the Saint-Charles River, we’ve all been winners. A revamped urban park, a smooth bike path, and the site of the first Frenchman to overwinter in America, Parc Cartier Brébeuf.

So, choose one of the neighborhoods in Lower Town and head up for a stroll in this haven of peace, observing nature come alive.

And of course, a stop at the nearest bakery for a croissant and coffee. What could be better!
